What can Acupuncture and TCM Treat?

About the therapist
The journey to becoming a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture practitioner has been a long one for me. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Criminology. A 180-degree turn later led me to work in sales and marketing for several Fortune 500 electronics companies. My 15-year career in corporate no longer fit me and offered me a purpose after 15 years. I have returned to my focus on healing and people after doing constant soul searching.
It is my philosophy of healing that body and mind are two sides of the same coin. The treatment of either one will have an overall effect on the other. The belief that mind and body are integrated is one of the most attractive aspects of acupuncture and other methods of TCM. Thus, a psychologically well-balanced body naturally leads to a psychologically well-balanced mind.
As a therapist, I am analytical and results-driven. I am passionate about empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts in my practice. I believe prevention is the best medicine. As a holistic medical practitioner, I enjoy bridging the gap between western and holistic medicine and providing a safe, nurturing environment. I incorporate the latest treatments and therapies into my practice, and I believe that continuing education is crucial for competent Chinese medicine practitioners.
